Meet Tereasa Jones, M.S.
Tereasa is a professional life coach who specializes in
relationship coaching of all kinds. She has been trained in
coaching methodology, counseling psychology, and
assessment. She coaches in a variety of ways, which include
personal coaching, group coaching, and workshops. She enjoys
creating and designing solutions to all kinds of
relationship concerns. Her passion is helping people develop
the skills to connect with the important people in their
lives in meaningful ways. A good deal of Tereasa's
effectiveness is rooted, not in her professional training,
but in her life experiences. She has lived a good deal of
life, worked many types of jobs, and dealt with all of the
same relationship concerns that everyone else has. She is a
wife, mother, sister, daughter, neighbor, and friend to
many. In other words, she is out there in the world every
day, dealing with the same things that all of her clients
deal with. She listens carefully to what people want and
what is standing in their way and then gets to work creating
solutions for them. She walks her talk!
Many years ago, Tereasa realized that people came to her
with their problems. She discovered that she was a great
listener, with the gift of insight, and a knack for saying
things in ways that helped others see their lives and
circumstances in new ways. Eventually, she decided to use
these gifts in a formal way and returned to school. She
received her BA in Psychology and then her MS in Counseling
Psychology. She began practicing psychotherapy and later,
decided to develop and design her own coaching practice.
That was 10 years ago, and since then, she has coached and
trained hundreds of people. She is a lifelong learner and is
always involved in learning new ways to help her clients.
She cannot imagine life without learning.
Tereasa enjoys working with her clients because they come
from all walks of life, but have one thing in common: They
want to improve themselves and their lives, and they are
willing to take the necessary steps to do so. The clients
she agrees to coach are willing to work hard and accept
responsibility for the direction of their lives and their
relationships.
